TRIP OVERVIEW

WRECK FISHING

Wreck fishing is grouped under our “reef fishing” category and many days fishing the wrecks are the way to go!

Most days we start out by catching live bait and then go from there. A full day is always recommended for the best fishing experience, but if a ½ day charter is all you think you can handle or have time for, give the reef a shot! The average travel time in and out is only 20 minutes each way, so you’ll have plenty of fishing time! Florida Keys Reef Fishing is a great option for the whole family!

“We didn’t want to spend the money on a full day but we wanted to catch big fish. Captain Josh suggested we wreck fish for a half-day and we went for it. We caught 4 huge Amberjack ranging from 40-70 lbs! We wanted to bend the rod and fight some big fish and the Calcutta crew delivered. My arms are still sore just thinking about it.”

“My family and I absolutely love catching and eating Mutton Snappers! We hit the wrecks with Captain Josh and he put us on them. We had a great trip and were treated very well. 10/10 will go again soon.”
